My 5 month old outdoor bunny always has dirty bottom, since the day i have her.. At first i thought there was something wrong with her stool, like having a diarrhea. But i havent seen anything that indicates a diarrhea. The last time we went to the vet she told me everything was fine.
So im thinking its because she cant or doesnt eat her cecotroops. I find them every morning, even though when im with her, i see her bending over to eat(?)..
She also likes to sit in de mud covered with their droppings..
So i decided to trim a little, but is there a less stressfull way to keep it clean? I mean less stressfull for the bunny…
Because here's is the other thing: She is very very scared. I try to avoid holding her and she started to trust me slowly by sitting or lying a little bit closer. But since i inspected her butt yesterday and today she is back to square one and runs away when she sees me. I see every sign of stressed bunny and it worries me 🙁
Next week its time to cut their nails again but if she keeps getting stressed like this i dont know what to do.
