Here’s his temporary bedroom (our kitchen).
We went to the vet this morning and sadly he doesn’t have a chip. The vet thinks he’s about 10-12 weeks old and he’s definitely a boy. Still no luck finding his owner, we’re going to put posters up tomorrow and keep posting to local groups. He’s got some more hay, some burgess excel junior pellets, and some new toys and a tunnel.
He’s such a chilled out little guy, he’s happy to lay on us or wander around the house (very closely supervised), seems neutral to being pet. We’ve got a couple people in the area who reached out to help us and make sure we’re doing the right things for him, who have been so so incredibly helpful. One of them runs a rescue and if we can’t find an owner and decide to keep baby smoko she’s happy to help us get all set up for him and find him a friend.
