Hey guys I recently rescued a 2 year old Holland lop from an extreme case of neglect and he had a like billion medical issues. I've had him for almost a month now and (5 vet visits and a bunch of meds/critical care later) he's significantly improved! He's not 100% perfect but he's now no longer in danger of dying. I just wanted to share his picture because im so proud of him. Im planning on getting him neutered so he can try bonding with my other bunny but thats a situation for when he's been healthy for at least a week (vet recommendation)

He is adorable. Thank you for helping him get better 💜
That’s awesome! Thanks for saving him. I would think a few months’ recovery before enduring general anesthesia and surgery would be the more conservative approach. Just think what a human would want… after terrible ordeals /health issues we’d want more time to convalesce. Plus maybe you can get him on an improved hay-eating routine during this time so that in case he has neuter recovery issues, it’ll be that much easier to keep stasis at bay. I’d hate to see you lose him after all your efforts.
