So I’m bunny sitting along with dog sitting. I’m trying to do the best job I can! The bunny’s name is Pepe and he is a boy. He mostly stays out in a tiny fenced in yard.( it freaks me out too but it is a tiny yard.) However before it becomes dark there is a procedure for getting him into his enclosure at night. It is definitely a bunny thing and a bit crazy but it works! Without making Pepe unhappy. But it must be done properly. You have to get him to go inside. Then there are 3 bits of dog food on one side of the couch. He doesn’t get them but somehow this entices him. ( oh before this I stalk up the enclosure with all sorts of treats. Bunny ones.) So after chasing him slightly he comes inside. You have to use a broom to get him out from underneath the couch. Also you have to move the couch. Then there is a black blanket that is soft and super fluffy. This you throw over him and carefully wrap him up gently. He doesn’t freak out at all he is used to this procedure. lol? So after you wrap him gently and tell him good boy also everything is ok. Then carefully set him down in the enclosure so he doesn’t start to kick. Then you gently uncover him inside. He acts like it’s 100% normal and doesn’t get upset or anything plus he has his treat surprises in there. He lets me pet and scratch his head right after. Bunnies are some of the funniest characters sometimes.
