I got my bunny a bit older, and he doesn’t like to be picked up. I’ve tried putting him on my bed and couch and it’s very stressful for him. Picking him up alone isn’t as stressful, but it still scares him and makes him trust me less.
He’s become a lot more trusting of me since I stopped trying to pick him up, and he jumps over to me and lets me pet him everywhere.
Should I just accept he doesn’t like being picked up and sitting up with me? Will he eventually want to come up by himself? Or should I pick him up more to get him used to it?
