Don't worry, I confirmed he's alive 😀
This bun has been on syringe food for the past 5 days, following his second dental operation in 2 weeks. He's having difficulties chewing on his own and can't eat hay or vegetables yet, due to an ulceration in his cheek.
This morning I saw that he had discovered my wheatgrass patch that I was growing in the windowsill for his equally old girlfiend – though he seems not to have gone for the actual grass, but the grassroots specifically or maybe even the sprouted seeds themselves. In the wild I'm assuming they eat all that stuff and even dirt when it comes down to it, so this is mostly a sanity check – why would he want the roots/seeds, and can I just let him snatch it?
