Hi everyone,
I had my two adult bunnies bonded at a shelter a few weeks ago. They seemed to be doing very well and snuggling up together etc. (See pic). I keep them in a big pen most of the time and when I get home I let them roam free. However, when I got home this morning after being away for one night (I left the pen open so they could free roam), my whole living room was covered in hair, pee and poops and it seemed like the dominant female bunny had attacked my male bunny.
I went to the vet and fortunately the wounds were not bad, but he is very afraid of the other bunny now and runs away whenever she comes close. I don’t have a neutral room to rebond them in as I live in a 1 bedroom apartment.
What do I do?
