My 7 year old bunny has been acting strange recently so we brought him to the vet and they said he has renal/ kidney failure. They wanti keep him O don't for several days at the cost of $5000 but I know if that's worth doing. Is there a treatment for kidney failure is rabbits? Could he go back to normal or will he have to take some kind of medicine or treatment plan? How long would he have to live and what could I do to keep him comfortable during those days.
ljust don't know what the best decision to do is, if anyone is knowledgeable about this or has experience with a bunny who was going through this I would appreciate any advice.
