I lost my best friend, my life companion last night. All I want is to wake up from this nightmare. She was the only one who got me through the roughest times of my life. She was the most perfect, loyal, compassionate little buddy. She always wanted to be close to me, slept peacefully in my lap while I worked. A big piece of me died with her. She passed away in my arms, where she always felt loved and safe. I don’t even know how to even move on. This pain in my heart hurts like nothing else I’ve experienced. I have not stopped crying as I feel so empty inside.
