I just removed the xpen so our bun can be 100% free to roam. Happy about it, yes. But now I'm paranoid he'll stop using his litterboxes (Yes he has 2 for reasons). He already made a small poo pile right between them. I'm hoping it was just a fluke!
How was your transition from partial to full free-roaming? Any tips or suggestions?
Yes we use a hutch here. However, it is never, ever closed. He has always been free to come and go from it. It's just multi-useful as a place for bun to chill and a place to put my bird cage
