Hello all !! I wanted to give a quick update about a post I made a little over a week ago. For context : my cousin has a neglected and abused rabbit that she was planning on rehoming. I took everyones advice (THANK YOU) to reach out to her again ASAP and she got hostile with me about it and changed her mind about rehoming, stating that she's "planning on keeping 'it' " before blocking me. I wish there was more I could do but I sadly can't force her to do anything since I'm not her parent/her parents don't seem to care.
However, since I was planning on getting a rabbit either way, I got into contact with a local rescue and after being approved, bought home Milo ! He s still getting used to the space (been a few hours since he s been here) but he has been lounging/relaxing with his back legs spread which I've heard is a good sign (photo for tax <3) !! I was told he s an American Fuzzy Lop which the rescue mentioned being wrong when I asked about it 😠He s very soft so I'm guessing he s a Rex 🙂
TL;DR – Cousin blocked me after I messaged her for an update on rehoming her rabbit, so I have adopted one thats been in a rescue for a while instead <3
