I stalk this sub a bit but havent posted before. Im only doing so now because i had one of my bespoke brilliant thoughts. I had my daughter name the bunny because when she was little she named the best little rat buddy weve ever had and i was essentially 'rubbing her head for luck' so to speak. So when she was 3 i had a good relationship with my local pet store due to my aquarium hobby and they asked me to adopt a baby fancy rat because they had sold out of feeder rats and didnt want him to become one. He was bred by the woman who asked me to adopt him. He was named pudding and he was the best pet ive ever had and id be here a while if i started listing species (although its worth noting that bun is my only pet atm)
Anyways. Pudding was so lovely i wanted my daughter to name the bun too so she was sort of 'related' to pudding. Its all vibes ok people? Anyways her name is muffin. She the biggest most awesome asshole in the world. Had to entirely redesign my living room to make it harder for her to kill herself (expected though she still tries, all the cords are in cases now). She likes to steal anything made of wood or paper and and run off with it to her cage, especially if it belongs to my youngest children. The bunny ate my homework is something that will actually happen. If i forget to lock her in her cage at night she might remind me by hopping on my head. Shes like a cat where she will approach you but run off if you try to pet her. Unless you are my husband who bullies her and corners her to recieve pets and will forcibly pick her up when she obviously doesnt want to, and he does not understand the concept of an animal having autonomy and by all rights animals should hate him… however she seeks his attention most often and ill be damned if he isnt getting her used to being hauled into his lap. Anyways since she is a muffin she has all sort of nicknames. When she is all balled up in round bunng ball shape, she is a loaf, when she stretches out she is a baguette. She is such a sweet bun. SWEET BUN. Ah if i get another bunny after her i will name it cinnamon roll. Lol. And another rat would be named yogurt.
Wall of text i know. I had to gush over my sweet baby. She ate 20 dollars once too. I laminated it and have it on display.
