Context, I'm a first time bun mom and want to get my rabbit spayed (for many reasons) but the only vet clinic I've found in my city that sees rabbits gave me this as an estimate.
Am I being scammed? Like honestly, am I being punked? Everything I've read online from my area says they've only payed around 300 for the whole process, but the clinics I found those posts about are no longer taking rabbits as patients. Also, almost everything I've read says that unless something goes wrong, it's not necessary to keep them overnight after surgery. They list it as like a day surgery thing.
I feel like I'm either the most uninformed bunny parent in the planet or I'm having a fever dream.
