I'm planning my hypothetical dream house. I hope to have rescue buns living there with me, so I'm trying to plan an ideal environment for them. I was thinking of having an outdoor enclosure for some extra space to run around in in the summer. In addition, it'd be nice to build them a place where they could dig tunnels safely.
Do you have ideas on how to do that? I came up with the design in the picture, but I'd appreciate more opinions.
Would my plan work and be safe? What kind of soil should the digging material be?
I don't think there's a risk of the tunnels collapsing since the platform above the dirt is so close to the ground. Flooding could be prevented by having a roof and proper drainage. I obviously couldn't clean the digging area properly without emptying it, so any ideas are welcome about that, too.
