Hi everyone,
Long time lurker first time poster.
I had to make the hard decision to help my senior bun cross the rainbow bridge yesterday and I'm having trouble coping so I thought I would come here and talk to other bunny parents who get how special they are. George was a 10 year old angora. Absolutely beautiful and sweet and loved being pet and getting snacks. We woke up one morning and he couldn't stand up his legs were dragging. We tried out best to help him with cleaning, bringing his water bowl over, hand feeding, and changing out the pad we put under him but I knew he couldn't keep living that way. His bonded bun Foof an 8 year old Lionhead was by his side until I took him yesterday. I also have George's son Charlie who is a 6 year old angora. It hurts everytime I walk in their room. I know they need me but everything just hurts and my brain feels like it's in slow motion. My junior year of college also started yesterday so I really need to pull myself together but how do I move on from a bun who was my soul mate?
