So I just got the brown one (Clarisse Clove) a few days ago and I'm hoping these two will bond. I currently have a divider in the X-Pen.
Lemon Pepper Stepper (the gray one) is 3 years old and spayed, whereas Clove is 3 months old and unspayed – both female.
Pepper is a little bit territorial and Clove seems to be quite submissive and doesn't care to fight.
Since I put the divider up they seem to be coexisting quite well, Pepper isn't growling or lunging at the fence.
What can I do to help them bond and get along better so I can eventually remove the divider?
