Hi! So sorry if this is the wrong place for this but I don't know what to do. This morning we found a baby bunny nest in our yard. Unfortunately, momma bunny didn't pick the best place for it as we have a dog. Luckily, we can just leash our dog for the next few weeks until the babies are gone. However, the nest is in the middle of our yard very much out in the open. She also didn't really cover it and it's very shallow and visible. My biggest concern is predators that might eat the poor things (I've seen hawks in the area). Is there anything we can do to help momma and her babies? I don't want to scare her off but I want to make sure she and the babies are safe. Is a rehabber the best bet? Attached is a picture of the nest. Thanks!
