Looks like he’s just flopped out and sleeping. Give him a little boop and see if he responds. If he’s unresponsive it could be GI stasis and should see a rabbit savvy vet immediately.
dwarf_buns2
He looks very cozy and happy

Dreaming 😴

He’s comfy. 😊

It’s super scary the first time they flop, but it just means they feel safe <3
Brilliant-Draw1260
Hold a treat out in front of him. To me it honestly looks like he’s just comfortable and sleepy

I have a bunny I just got back from vacation on that had stasis when I got back. I went in his room this morning and he was out like that. I had a fucking breakdown trying to get to him under the bed to check on him. He was pretty offended about me waking him up
AbilityEqual1891
He’s dreaming. If you’ve watched “The Hangover” 2009 movie, cue in Stu’s Song but instead of tiger, replace with rabbit.
‘What do bun-nies dream of?
When they take a little bunny snooze…’
My_friends_are_toys
That is the sleep of contentment.
flaminfiddler
Buns twitch when they’re dreaming. Sometimes they even dig or hop.
-abby-normal
I think he’s just eepy

Thx for everyone that replied. He is in fact just sleeping but in a position Ive never seen him in lol he got up a little after i posted to eat and flopped again.
Sidehussle
Mine sleeps like that in all sorts of places.
Purple_IsA_Flavor
I think he’s just knocked out HARD
HumanIdiots25
They get warm. Normal behavior

Looks like he’s dreaming 😴
As long as he continues to eat and poop he’s likely fine. If he’s showing signs of pain take him to the vet. How long have you had him?
VLSHK
just tired from all the bunnying he has to do all day
Based off those face twitches, he’s dreaming about the best meal ever. he’s doing a good nap and feeling relaxed enough to dream
abunrodeo
If his behaviour hasn’t been off and he’s been eating and drinking before he did this, I wouldn’t worry. When they lay like this they’re very comfy and feel very safe because they’re very vulnerable in this position.
If you aren’t sure, hold out a treat in front of him to see if he responds quickly and eats it. Means he’s okay!
I had my bun pass away in my arms last Thursday and the process of them passing looks quite different sadly. Give yours a nice warm hug from me please.

My baby girl willow rest her soul passed away a few months ago and she had passed in her sleep thankfully so she didn’t suffer.
But from experience, they can die in any position she was in a similar position to this when i found her she was acting normal through the entire day, jumping on me, laying down on me watching me play my game’s while i pet her too, then middle of the night she died she was caged through the night because she loved chewing cords and no matter what I put on them to protect them from her she chewed through it, hell even used a steel chain sleeve and all she did was dig at it for days till it gave and she chewed the cord again, she always had a hating for cords of any kind. She lived 9 year’s was my baby and when she was cold when i woke up to let her out it broke my heart… but keep an eye on them just in case i doubt you’rs is dying from the pictures but this was just a rant so sorry for it…

Looks like a flop to me. If he’s eating and pooping it’s all good. If it is hot where you live and you don’t have ac try gently washing the inside of his ears with a cool wash cloth and freeze some water bottles for bunny to lay against.
When rabbits feel very safe, they like to sleep in horrifying poses. This is my late bun Camille scaring the shit out of me by splatting on the floor. She only started splatting when she was older and I thought she had keeled over and died every time I saw it. I learned to look for the rise and fall of her chest and the twitch of her nose. Splat in peace, my good sweet rabbit.
The amount of flopped sleeps I’ve interrupted with a panicked cry 😰
Lonely-Enthusiasm541
First time i seen my bunny falling asleep she just threw herself on her side and she was out i was like oh my God poor girl and she was only sleeping eheh it’s normal don’t be nervous
Lishamau5
Haha no. He’s just flopped. Potential food coma and then flop? Lol
icannotbelieveit69
haha even after a year i get worried sometimes when my bunnies too knocked
Prestigious_Sock_914
He’s flopped just touch him to see if he’s alive they flop when relaxed
Pibble-Tech
I had the exact same thought when I saw my first bunny comfortable enough to completely relax. I went to check on him and he was annoyed that I woke him up.
emzyme212
Sweet baby looks cozy and the flop means theyre comfortable in their environment. With bunnies it’s totally normal to worry over behavioral changes because small issues can become deadly so fast. You’re doing great, love. Maybe do some research into what specific things to look for, this sub is amazing for that, but from this pic he looks like he’s just fine
Under the table KNOCKED out. Didn’t move until I rustled his kale bag 🤣
PrysmX
Bunnies and guinea pigs are great at looking dead at the most unexpected of moments. For peace of mind give a poke, at worst they get annoyed and then dose off again. If there’s no response that’s when to stop filming and get to a vet ASAP.

Flopped into sleep, with rumbling of dreams.
