People ask me all the time why I feed my dogs whole prey diet, why not just buy processed meat only?
What they don’t know is that, there are numerous other benefits associated with raw feeding(whole prey) vs raw feeding in a less natural way.
When you feed your dog whole prey they are eating all the parts of the animals, including, meat; bones, organ meat and all in between..each of those parts contains different nutrients that you are dog is now consuming.
Another benefit is that your dog really have to work around their meal which promotes naturally clean teeth, mental exercise, physical exercise and prepares their stomach to receive food.
Whole rabbit is a easy whole prey to feed because most larger dogs can eat a whole rabbit from head to tail without leaving much if anything behind, so there’s no waste, no feathers everywhere( if you fed whole birds)
And it’s red meat( the best for our dogs).
And as you can see the dog truly enjoys their meal to the fullest, and they have that look of being satisfied afterwards 🙂
