Delilah has the best little smirk. She’s full of puppy energy but she will sit for treats so nicely. She gives kisses and snuggles as well. Delilah has stolen the hearts of many staff and volunteers here at BARCS.
Delilah does have one quirk that will need some more investigating – Possibly the cutest thing about her… possibly the cutest thing ever… is how she walks. Delilah alternates between being a dog and being a bunny. She’ll take a few alternating steps, then some bunny hops, then alternating steps, then bunny hops (see video.) She doesn’t appear to be uncomfortable in any way right now, but it’s certainly unusual, and the vets at BARCS are recommending an X-ray. Perhaps we will find out she IS part bunny, and will require some sort of special care as a result! Puppy, bunny, or mix, Delilah is one of a kind, and perfect addition to a family ready to add a whole lot more joy in their lives.
