This morning I went to place some trimmed shrub branches I had in my backyard by the front of the burrow to conceal it and there is no sign of the babies. I suspect (and hope) the burrow is deeper than it looks in and mom threw a bunch of grass on them, but I’m not going to touch the spot to find out. I placed the branches just in case and I will keep an eye out for a bit.
