I’m moving to the Northeast in a few months & want to start buying bales for my rabbit. Currently we buy from small pet select but it seems a lot cheaper to just get bales; for ex small pet charges ~$90 for a 40lb box while local farms/stables charge $5-$10 for a 45 lb 2nd cut bale. My rabbit is 1yo & barely 2lbs so that much hay should last a while. Do yall usually just get one bale per rabbit? I’d like it to last the whole year preferably. Also anything I should look out for?
