খরগোশ স্তন্যপায়ী প্রানী । পৃথিবীতে প্রায় ৫২ প্রজাতির খরগোশ রয়েছে । খরগোশ খুব শান্ত ও সামাজিক প্রানী । এরা সাধারনত তৃনভুমি এলাকায় বাস করে । যাই হোক খরগোশ মানুষেরা সখের বসে বাড়িতে পালন করে । এরা এক সাথে অনেক বাচ্চা প্রসব করে । গতকয়েকদিন পূর্বে বাংলাদেশের দক্ষিন জেলা পটুয়াখালীতে ঘুরতে গিয়ে হঠাৎ চোখ আটকে গেল খরগোশের বাচ্চা দেখে । একটি মা খরগোশ কত যত্ন করে তার ৬টি বাচ্চাকে এক সাথে বুকের দুধ পান করাচ্ছে । আসলেই এই দৃশ্য অসাধারন । বাচ্চা গুলো এত সুন্দর আমি দেখে বিমহিত হয়েছি । স্রষ্টার এত সুন্দর সৃষ্টি আমি আগে কখনই দেখিনি ।
