Potty training during first days home?

Hello bun parents!!

I brought home my v v v sweet baby boy bun today and i have a question regarding litter training!

I have read a lot of information about the first days/week of bringing your bun home. From what I’ve read, its best to let them get accustomed to their environment for the first few days. That its good to sit near their enclosure, then open the door, then actually in their enclosure over the period of a few days while they gain trust and comfort in both you and their new environment.

I have also read that starting potty training ASAP is best and most likely for quick and successful results. Potty training of course by picking up any pees or poops and putting them into their litterbox until they associate that with where they should use the bathroom.

So is it okay if i enter the enclosure to pick up those peeps and poops for litter training from day one? Should i give it a few days?

Just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing for both bonding and litter training! Thank you so much for your help and insight!
