Hello.
About a week ago something that looked like an abscess appeared on his foot, so I took him there and while she was dubitative she still gave me antibiotics and anti-inflammatory in case it was just an abscess. Four days later it evolved and a flesh glob got out of the thing so I called them again and they gave me an appointment for this morning when I took him there again.
Not even an hour ago the vet called me telling me that amputating the two toes probably wouldn’t be enough because the tumor tissues were farther than we could have guessed and the fur had hidden them. So she gave me the choice of only cutting the two toes or more, I chose to be cautious and decided to amputate more because I don’t want ithe tumor to reappear again.
It’s hard but at least he has a chance to be alright, to heal and live more with less pain than the one he was in these last days.
If anyone knows of any information that could help my little guy and myself to get through this I would be grateful.
Also sorry if my writing was a bit erratic, I am not really in a good place right now. Also I put the post in NSFW in case someone could be sensitive on this particular subject.
