Hello. During our daily rounds of feeding my two Netherland dwarf rabbits, my partner went into their room and saw my female bunny rolling in her back and side. I’ve had rabbits for over 5 years, and I understand that this very well could just be her flopping. But since they moved here from my mums (around 4 months ago) I don’t think she’s ever done this. She was also loafing (laying on the floor) when she raised up her back-end. I also think this could be the start of a mating season. Because March time is usually when they get crazy. Both my female and male rabbit have been neutered/spayed, both have vaccinations and are a healthy weight.
Is this just flopping because she’s happy or in mating season or should I take her to the vets? Thank you 🙂
