My bunny Nova has been having a fake pregnancy for a couple days. She went hardcore. Digging up everything, scratching everything, trying to find as many stuff to put in her nest. Today she didn’t show any symptoms anymore. She was her normal self again. Though, just now she is just laying flat all the time. Normally I’m not allowed near her, let alone pet her, but she is allowing all of that. Which is a major change in her behaviour and concerns me a little bit. Can a bunny get sad/depressed after a fake pregnancy? She’s been eating hay and her greens, but not as much as she used to. She will sit up, eat a couple and lay down again (on the food). Normally she also comes running when she hears her food bowl getting filled, but she couldn’t care less now. We went to the vet yesterday to get her vaccinations and they did a health check and all was good. My other bunny isn’t leaving her side either. I’m a little concerned because of the major change in her behaviour.
