My 2 year old rabbit, April isn’t happy and I don’t know why.
A year ago she had a partner but sadly he passed away and she hasn’t been doing anything since, even when he was alive she only flopped and followed him around, now she doesn’t play with toys, she doesn’t binky or flop.
She is free roamed, gets fed fresh greens and her litter box is always full, I thought it was her diet or something but a month ago we resqued a new partner for her and he’s the happiest boy despite him being in a pretty small enclosure (temporarily)
She has great appetite however and grooms herself well so I don’t think it’s depression. Vets say I’m making up problems but this seems like an issue to me, is there anything I can do to make her happy other than getting her a partner?
