I’m going crazy because my house is full of hay. I have 4 rabbits and a newborn and my partner and I both work full time so I just can’t clean for an hour every day. We have 2 rabbits free roaming the living room and 2 upstairs in the office/bedroom (We couldn’t get them to bond so 1 is in a cage and the other one is free roaming. We switch them every day). In the living room it is somewhat manageable because we have a rug that keeps the hay from spreading everywhere. But upstairs we had to get rid of the rug because they kept peeing on it since the bonding issues. They are super playful and eat a LOT of hay so we need an extra hay rack aside from the hay in the litter boxes. It goes everywhere. When I clean it’s dirty again in 2 hours. Always hay on my socks that goes everywhere in the house. Please does anyone have a genius suggestion? Or am I doomed to live like this as a bunny mom? Because my mental health is declining 😅 I thought of some kind of rubber or yoga mat but they would just eat it. (Also our house is very small so we can’t put either of them in another room).
