So I foster bunnies and just took in 3 babies and 1 mama, they are so cute and wonderful but I need some help with 2 things.
my babies are 16days old and won’t stay in the nest, they have been escaping the nest for a couple days now they know how to get in and out but it’s still a bit concerning due to having water dishes out and them being so small.there eyes are open and they are eating hay.
Another is getting them used to humans, since I foster they will be going into homes when they get older and I don’t want them terrified of humans. How do I get them used to humans and there dumb shenanigans lol.
Today is cleaning day so I’ll be cleaning everything including cleaning the nest, should I make another warm spot where they like to hang out? I’ll also put the water bowl up on a box so only mama will get it. Also when do mama bunnies get less territorial over there babies, she never got the proper human attention growing so she’s also scared( I have to do meds too for her upper respiratory infection so that adds on the fear)
