My sweet boy (5mos) was neutered and got his rabies shot on Thursday morning. He’s been on pen rest since then until this morning where I allowed him to come out but with extra supervision. (This photo was from before surgery!!)
I’m very concerned because he used to be very sweet. But now I can’t even hold him to check his stitches… it’s like he doesn’t even want to be around me. He will run the other way and ignore me. He’s also gotten more grabby with his food. I tried hand feeding him some extra treats and greens and instead of nibbling from my hand-hes jerking it away and then eating it.
I’m so worried I made huge mistake and that he will never be the same sweet boy I had before.
