Hello, my bunny got neutered today I thought the vet would have a collar that we could put on him, I was wrong they didn’t. I’ve try’d making one but he won’t eat in it, and a sock thing that I found on YouTube he freaked out when i try’d to put it on him. I don’t know what else I can do to keep him away for this stitches until I’m able to get him one from the store.

I’ve never seen bunnies get a cone. For my bunnies i had to limit their movement by putting them in their cages for a few days. If your bunny is not picking at his stitches I don’t think you have to do anything. But if he does call your vet before you get anything.
My buns never received a cone as I was told they might be stressed by it. Luckily they never touched their scars though.
Feel better soon, little bun! 🙂
that’s not a very well-equipped vet, I think. I hope he gets well fast and doesn’t fuss with his stitches.
Ive been through this 3 times with my bunnies. None of them ever needed a cone. If you’re bunny isn’t going at the stitches then trust them and don’t try and cone them
I hope he feels better soon, keep an eye on him and his stitches, did his vet prescribe pain meds?
My bun didn’t get a cone. Just keep an eye on his behaviour if he’s grooming his incision too much then contact your vet
Your vet can probably supply you with a special type of romper meant for rabbits, but like other people said, check first if it’s actually necessary. We had to put one of our buns in one because she kept picking at her stitches, and she gave us the most heartbreaking “help me” looks the entire time she had to wear it.
High!
Only one of our 4 bunnies needed a cone. He had to much energy and did not mind the cone. The others were not focused on the stitches.
Good luck with your bun 🙂
