The hay blend is what I usually get from pet smart for my rabbit as her main source of hay. Today I went to tractor supply instead and got this. Whatโs the difference? Is once more healthy and better than the other??

Not a ton of difference; the blend has orchard grass, which is softer and sweeter than Timothy. The new Timothy might be a softer cut than typical cuts, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Your bunny might be very picky about eating it at first, especially if she was partial to the orchard grass. She should come around to it fairly quickly, though.
The main hay types for Rabbits are Timothy ( three different cuts ) , oat hay, meadow hay, orchard, and alfalfa which is mainly for babies. Oat is more a treat or in addition to. Just don’t buy hay with dried carrots, peas , seeds or things added to it.
Some types of hay are better for baby buns, and others are best for most other buns. Itโs really about which gays are right for which type of gut biome. In some, thereโs also a bit of a difference in taste, some sweeter, but not as nutritious, another isnโt as tasty but is healthier, and one is in between. My boy wasnโt big on eating the healthiest one, so I started with the sweetest, mixed in some of the middle kind, and gradually got him used to the healthiest kind. Thereโs a chart on the back of the bag, I think
