My bun lays on hers too we put smooth plywood and her blankets on top so its soft and her foot don’t go through the top so she doesn’t hurt her feet
Our bun does this as well, he has a wooden burrow and a soft faux sheepskin on top. I think bunnies like cozy spots to survey their domain
same, my buns favorite spot is on top of his hutch, I put a blanket down and put a fan next to him and he’s living his best life
