Update On Baby bunny 3 Week old

Hello ! Ice recently posted on some Advice about my Bunny I just got just to be clear this bunny was given to me as a gift for easter. I had knowldege prior about their diet like hay and treats, I was lied to about the age Witch caused alot of issues, thankfully The vet gave me helpful advice she is 100 % healthy and Happy, we just recently Bought her a play Area to set up in her pin where she can run around freely. She is let out to the back supervised so she can have some air. I plan to take a trip for her to see her mother soon in jersey when we can and when shes cozy. She was given milk and a carrot for being super patient with me yesterday for today and shes happily playing.

They have baby rabbit formula on Amazon. I fed mine cat formula and goat milk (1:1) ratio. That bunny is still going to need milk if it’s that young. Just be sure not to get it in her nose or lungs during feedings.

Just want to say, good for you for putting time, effort, and energy into being the best bunny parent.

You rock! You’re doing great and so cool that you’re taking good care of the little baby 😊

Also I would just make sure that she knows how to drink out of a bottle and you see her actually do it in case she doesn’t know yet. Sometimes they prefer bowls. Also check out Lennon the Bunny on YouTube. She has super helpful videos and fun diy toys that you can make for her

It makes me so sad seeing how many people are getting very young rabbits as easter gifts I’m glad we don’t have this holiday where I’m from because we will probably end up seeing random rabbits dumped in the streets. I”m glad you are tacking the time to learn about the new baby make sure they have fresh hay and water 24/7 and pellets. I don’t recommend feeding the bun milk unless a rabbit vet told you so because it may harm them
