Teary eye

So i got this cutie about two weeks its my first bunny , however at one eye you can see its dry and pretty clean but around the other eye his fur seems to be a bit wet (as if some tears rolled down)
Is this something to be worried about ? I dont really wanna traumatise him with a trip to the vet already he is only 9 weeks old

One of my lops has always had a teary eye, without consequences so far, just gently wiping it with chamomile on cotton, if it becomes dirty. Keep an eye on it and see if there are other signs of concern. It’s something you might want to say at the first vet appointment.

Has it been consistently wetter than the other eye? If it’s only been a day or two, it’s probably just a hair in there that the bunny’s body is trying to flush out. If it’s consistent, you may need a vet visit. There may be a problem with the tear duct(which is supposed to remove the naturally produced moisture in the eye, draining away excess). If the discharge is anything but clear, bunny needs an urgent vet visit.

Edit to add: the eye near the tear duct on the wet eye looks redder. I’d go to the vet. Baby may need some antibiotics.
