I would try cutting up the veg and giving him more variety of small veg and fruit in a bowl next to his pellets. Definitely take a huge clump of hay and leave it on the floor where you’ve put the veg he’s lying on. Sometimes I take a medium sized box and put random holes in the box and stuff it with tons of hay and pull it slightly through each hole. My bun loves to jump inside of the box and burrow, sleep and eat
