Question about safe bunny bedding…

So I went out to buy some bedding for part of my bunnies’ enclosure today and like normal I picked up the Kaytee Aspen Bedding but when I got home, I thought maybe the texture was a little off and it definitely smelled a little weird to me…. I was wondering if it is possible that they accidentally put pine bedding in the aspen bedding packaging? I’m no expert on bunny bedding but I thought I’d ask here because I know pine bedding can be toxic for rabbits and I didn’t want to accidentally give them pine bedding. The second picture attached is the supposed aspen bedding, and the first is one of my buns (William) along with the normal smelling aspen bedding… Tell me if I’m being overdramatic!! I figure there’s a good chance I just picked up a batch of aspen that just smells weird for whatever reason, but I’d rather play it safe than sorry when it comes to the bun buns!

Honestly if I even suspected pine I would immediately just send it back

I use reusable puppy pee pads and use a indoor puppy play pen for my bunnies cage

That looks like aspen to me. Pine does not, like, trying together like that (I work with horses so I’m pretty well versed in shavings).
