Newly Built Rabbit Hutch For Momma Bunny and Her Babies

I just built a new hutch for my pregnant Champagne D’ Argent rabbit. I cross bred my doe with a Checkered Giant buck rabbit. The Champagne doe is due to give birth any day now so I thought I had better separate her from the other female rabbit she has been sharing a hutch with. This is the first hutch I have built. It’s not the prettiest thing in the world but it will work.

The floor of the hutch is not all mesh wire. The cubby hole floor is plywood and where I hung the water bottle is a strip of plywood as well. I place the plywood in these areas to give the rabbit(s) a place to step without it being wire mesh 24/7 which could cause injury or discomfort to the bunny.
