So, as you may remember I’ve shared a post previously about this sweetheart we temporarily adopted, who had an abscess on her back due to an untreated cat bite.
Well, after 3 weeks of treatment we received some good news from the vet today: this was the last time she needed to be sedated, today they cleaned out the wound for the last time, there’s already new tissues and blood vessels forming, meaning she will make a full recovery!❤️🩹
We still have to clean the wound daily, she still needs to receive antibiotics, but no more anaesthesiology for her!
She is very happy, in other news, eats a lot and trusts us completely – this is how she usually sleeps when we’re in the room with her -, runs a lot and is very interested in the other animals. Since introducing bunnies takes a lot of time and – we know from experience – can be difficult, we decided to wait with the introduction until she’s fully recovered, but she has already met the dogs, and it seemed like love at first sight.
And, we have decided to adopt her. If she gets on well with the other rabbits, than it’s great, if not – we’ll, they will have a bit less space or we can just buy a bigger house 😂 or I don’t know, we will find a solution, we’re completely in love with her.
