Update: Bernie passed away on our way to the vet , he was declining very quick when the dr called, we tried to say goodbye before he passed.. we are gutted he was so young for this. Absolutely heartbroken, thank you for your prayers. 💔
Earlier thinking Bernie was on the mend, but Our little 7 month old is hospitalized overnight with stasis symptoms now , his breathing got very weird looking and was almost shaking earlier. So we rushed him to the ER. they did blood work and it could be something with his liver twisted, they are not 100% sure. They have him on IV & pain meds and will recheck blood work in the morning. We are so heartbroken and scared , I can’t look at his things without crying right now, he’s such a sweetheart . I’m hoping it’s good news overnight but I don’t have lots of hope , I know bunnies are so fragile. My teenage daughter is beside herself. Please keep Bernie in your prayers tonight he can recover , thank you
