My rabbit is a very small holland lop mix. She has never liked hay from day 1. I’ve tried so many different types of hay, cut down her greens and pellets, scattered it around, tried to put food in it to encourage foraging. I’m at my wits end. She is almost a year old and does still need to be spayed. She will be getting that done in the next month. Could that improve things? There was a small period of time when I thought we had turned a corner but then she abruptly stopped eating it again. She’s very sassy right now, so I’m wondering if this could be partly hormonal?
