this is 1.5 bunny. and you really want the whole thing to be 2 panels high, they could easily clear 18″. so you won’t even get the second tier and it’s really perfect for just 1.

you want roughly 48×48 for *each* bun under 5 pounds, and *at least* 60×60 for giants. even if they’re free roaming, they should have that much established territory, and free access to this much space in the event that they need to be confined for any reason.

If they are free roam (always!) then size doesn’t matter much. Also if you only lock them up for very short periods, like when vacuum cleaning, it’s fine. If you want to lock them up in the enclosure for longer (like if there is no supervision, including night time) this exact setup would not be secure because they can jump over. I’d also go for a bit bigger

Also, you can put a “bed” but they’ll sleep wherever they want. My buns have chosen the 30cm gap behind my couch

needs to be taller if it will be used to close them in at any point. I saw your details that they’ll be free roam so its really just in case you need to close them up for something, but I can assure you even a small bun will clear that just layer of panel! mine is an absolute escape artist. his 25 sq ft enclosure is not good enough for him when im at work 🤣 bunny proofing my room eventually became easier

I would look into some 4 foot tall x-pens. Even when you have free roaming bunnies, there are times when you may need to close them up. The little pen in the image won’t do the job because bunnies can jump about 3 feet on average. There’s also a good possibility that they will chew that plastic material to bits.
