Typically I try to sneak peeks when he’s in his superman pose, but another bun owner told me recently that I should be checking consistently to make sure he had no poops stuck there to prevent grooming issues and infections. (Lifting and getting a more thorough look). I honestly don’t like to pick him up unless completely necessary because it stresses him out and he hates it.
I always check to make sure his butt is clean in this position and his litter box is cleaned daily to keep his feet and butt clean.
Do I need to be doing more outside of his vet checkups?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
