The first time he pooped here I swept it all up and moved it to the litter box. Then I left for 5 minutes and came back and he went back to the same exact spot and pooped/peed… I’ve only had him for a week so haven’t had a chance to really litter box train him but seems like he’s decided that this is his designated bathroom spot. Any tips for discouraging this location ?

I would just confiscate the tunnel and find another toy for now until he’s better about litter training and then reevaluate.
Some bunnies also just can’t have nice things. 🙃
My bunnies did this when I first got them so they lost their comfy beds and tunnel. I can’t give them nice things as they will go toilet on them. Some rabbits just don’t go in the litter tray all the time.
