He’s probably about 4. Male neutered we got him a year ago from a local garden store that somebody else surrendered him to. Within a few weeks of getting him was the first time this happened. He isn’t usually interested in human food (and we never give him any except fresh veg) but I brought down a fresh bag of popcorn and he RIPPED it out of my hands with such ferocity. And he immediately went to town eating the spillage. He only had a couple pieces. But he goes nuts for popcorn and corn chips. No other chips or crinkly bags do it for him, I think he smells the corn chips. And he’ll try to lick my hands after I eat them until I go wash them. And if I even spill one popcorn kernel on the blanket or accidentally wipe my hand on my pants he can smell it and will try to lick the exact spot to extract all the flavor. I just try to avoid this happening but I was wondering what this means. Is he craving salt maybe?
