My bunny has some of these little wounds on his stomach. My vet said it looked like a bite mark from grooming, and not really like fur mites. But now I am noticing a few of them. And he also has some flakes on his skin, but not at all in his hair like with fur mites. What do you think it looks like?
I am also going to a different vet (more rabbit specified, but it’s a long drive) soon, for other reasons, I will be making that appointment tomorrow (it will probably be Friday or Monday). But I will have his stomach checked out as well while I’m there.
I’m just wondering if this is something to be extremely worried about and if I should go to my regular vet as soon as I can, or even the emergency vet right away, or if it’s fine and I can wait a few days for my appointment with the rabbit specified vet.
PS. He is eating normally. He also most likely has e. Cuniculi which he is already being treated for.
