My bun got castrated yesterday, he’s just over 5 months old. He’s recovering great so far, eating straight away (lots of hay & some veggies & pellets), drinking water, pooping and peeing. He seems more like his mischievous little self today too.
My question is how long should I wait before letting him use the stairs again? I was thinking a week but I feel cruel, he’s usually fully free roamed but has his own corner in my room with litter & toys etc so I’ve just been keeping my bedroom door shut so he can’t go down / up the stairs and he really wants to be out. How long should I wait before letting him have full free roam again? I don’t want to cause any unnecessary stress on the incisions from him jumping up and down the stairs.
