Hello
I have a 5 yr old holland lop and the vet made a bunch of tests on him after bringing him in for possible GI problems. His poop has been a bit runny and smaller for the last 1.5 weeks and while he has his litter box, recently starting pooping ALOT everywhere. I have him on gas meds and critical care food.
The vet recommended meloxicam but I understand that is for arthritis and it can actually cause stomach pain. My bun is eating fine and moving around alot as normal. He recently started eating his poop (could this be the cause?) which he hadn't done before even though I know its normal in buns.
Has anyone dealth with anything similar and can advice?
note: He has a follow appointment with vet soon
