Hi I had gotten a bunny around 6 months ago I love him to death and would like to know what more I can do for him and ways to build up the bond with him. I have a lot of toys for him i definitely keep up with his diets he seems to tolerate me at the most 😠he follows me sometimes, loves getting pets though he doesn’t directly ask for them mainly id like to know if there’s anything else i should provide for him? Maybe certain toys or things for stimulation, ways to help bonding I just wanna get everything right for him!

Is he neutered? Once there are less hormones it is easier for your bun to bond with you.
Otherwise it just takes time and a consistent routine. Bunnies love a routine that is predictable. I went from being tolerated to a bunny sitting on my couch at 8:30 waiting for cuddles over time.
And bribery works wonders! I hand feed half her pellets so she associates me with delicious food. And if you want to provide more pellets (without risking their health) try 100% Timothy hay pellets.
Enjoy your bun!
Each rabbit has its own personality. As prey animals, it may take months, or years to develop a close bond. At 6 months, it sounds like you’ve made great progress. For the most part, a rabbit’s trust must be earned. Being patient with them and earning their trust is one of the most rewarding experiences that one may have.
Re toys and chews, it may help to rotate them every 2 weeks to try to maintain bun’s interest in them. My bun liked Oxbow’s Wobbler Teaser. It dispenses pellets. Binky Bunny has a good selection of hides, chews, etc. Also, my bun liked Binky Bunny’s Mini Haven. There’s a link in the first link below for other toys and games.
